PsyJournals.ru Portal — A new navigation method has been introduced

The PsyJournals.ru portal has implemented an update that significantly streamlines access to original scholarly publications cited in journal articles. Now, references to sources in the bibliographies of articles have become interactive: readers can directly access the original publication via a hyperlink within the text. This innovation makes the process of reviewing scholarly materials more convenient and efficient. An interesting addition to the activation of direct links to the original publications is the indication, through a special symbol, that the publication can be found on the PsyJournals.ru portal.

The first step towards this update was the placement of over 7,000 full-text versions of journal articles in HTML format, which considerably enhanced access to the materials. More details about this can be found in the March updates.

The next phase involved the activation of DOIs (Digital Object Identifiers) in the bibliographies of articles, which made the links to sources interactive. Information on this phase can be found in the June updates of the portal.

All these changes were implemented in 2024 and aim to improve the quality and accessibility of scholarly information, as well as to support researchers and professionals working with the portal’s materials.
