Core Challenges of Autism

These fragments from the book of American clinical psychologist Bill Nason "Autism Discussion Page book" are dedicated to core autism challenges: love and acceptance, differences in cognitive processing, sensory issues, social problems and emotional regulation issues, including detailed analysis of meltdowns and shut-downs. The book takes the reader through all basic characteristics of children with autism in the four basic areas (cognitive, sensory, social, emotional) thus giving us the opportunity to understand, how the child experience the world, and promoting awareness, better understanding and acceptance.
