Case study of trauma work

Abstract

The article presents the case study of psychotherapy work with emotional trauma of the loss of meaningful relationship as result of divorce by the methods of Somatic Trauma Therapy. The theoretical basic and practical basics of this kind of trauma therapy is explained. Stages and flow of psychotherapy process, trauma symptom solving dynamic; and also restoration of the resilience, of the self-regulation ability and positive self-experiencing in depressed patient with psychic trauma are described. Somatic experiencing method work is shown in detail. Authors present the psychological investigation dates to prove the positive changes as results of Somatic trauma therapy.
