Abstract

Understanding the specifics of scientific style is required for successful communication with the world scientific community. The paper studies the development of scientific style in Russia, its main tasks and genres, as well as the structure and specifics of modern scientific articles as the effective means of international communication. Being the main genre of scientific style, scientific article is a vivid illustration of its development and constant transformation. Today, not only the relevance and novelty of the research are required for recognition and interaction with the international scientific community, but also the observance of a number of formal principles of the scientific article writing.
