Linguistic and cultural interpretation metaphors from the N.S.Leskov's tale "Lefty"



The article is devoted to consideration of metaphor from the perspective of cultural linguistics and cognitive science. It highlights selected metaphors from the N.S. Leskov's tale and discovers their didactic potential through disclosure of some characteristics of interpretation as a productive activity.
