Abstract

One of the unresolved issues of the grammatical system of the Dagestan languages is the problem of complex sentences. And the most widely discussed of them was the problem of the presence or absence of complex sentences with subordinate determinants here. There are as many opinions here as there are studies on the syntax of individual languages: some scientists completely deny the presence of complex sentences with clauses, others give examples that, in their opinion, prove their presence and fairly broad functioning. Our work will be devoted to the consideration of views on this problem on the material of the Rutul language, one of the early-written languages related to the Caucasian-Albanian languages.
