Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the interference as a natural process that occurs in literary texts translation. The linguistic analysis was based on two works of Russian classics: “White Nights” by F. M. Dostoevsky and “Frost, Red Nose” by N. A. Nekrasov. During the study of the translation of the past tense verbs from Russian into Italian, it was noted that there is no full correspondence in grammatical structures. As in some passages the translation was carried out by constructions and tenses typical for the Italian language, we can speak of the phenomenon of interference. It is noted that this linguistic phenomenon is not a factor destroying communication or meaning.
