Interpersonal Factors of Emotional Disadaptation of Freshman Students

Abstract

Exam period is an important stressful event in the life of any student. Life stress can often cause emotional ill-being and even emotional disorders. This fact sets a highly important task of studying predictors of successful processing stressful life events and stress coping among students. This research studies interpersonal factors and emotional disadaptation of freshman students in universities with intense academic work before the first exam period. Findings allow making the following general conclusion: there is a necessity of organizing psychological help for freshman students.
