Abstract

The contribution presents a historical review of perceptions of law in ancient and modern times. It also analyzes legal consequences as reflection of the level of social development of man. Stages of development of legal perceptions of modern children are compared with first perceptions of law in the ancient world which were reflected in myths. Genesis of schools of law is analyzed in the direction of rationalization of mythological perceptions. Mythical perceptions of earthly ways are presented in the context of influence on subsequent political and legal thought. The article also analyzes the first laws of ancient civilizations in their relation to piousness of peoples and moral regulations. It presents philosophical grounds of development of law in the works of Pythagoras, Plato, Aristotle, Cicero. Works of I.Kant and G.Hegel are presented as methodological base of schools of law. The contribution identifies significant similarity between motives of law abidance among children of preschool and junior school age and ancient, medieval people.
