Development of perspective constructions in the children's drawings 969
Three methods were elaborated to study development of perspective constructions in the child age: analysis of development and perspective direction by individual drawings on the given theme, analysis of correspondence of pictured size of the differently placed objects, and choice of a perspective drawing from a series of alternatives. The study was carried out in four age groups (total number of participants was 113). Results indicate the dominance of spatial constructions in the reversible perspective in preschool and primary school age. In the secondary school age a gradual transmission to constructions made in parallel and linear perspective takes place.
