Contemporary Russian cinema: the quest for social meaning 4417

Abstract
This period is characterized by a certain ambiguity in the perception of people to film production, particularly domestic. Understanding the cinematography as a product of culture in conditions of the market economy has become a reference point for rethinking the entire domestic cinematographic process and its values, which outlines the new socio-cultural development concept. The article deals with the problems that affect the modern Russian cinema, cinema and mutual society, the search for social meaning in the cinema and the need to end the country's cultural crisis. The appearance of positive moments in the modern development of the film industry, paying special attention to the cinematography by the government, they support their national film industry.
