The second issue of 2025 of the journal "Cultural-Historical Psychology" (No. 2–2025) has been published. The thematic sections encompass a broad range of topics, including educational psychology, clinical psychology, the history of science, and notable commemorative dates.
In this issue, the "Educational Psychology" section presents the results of developing a project-based play designed to facilitate the acquisition of theoretical knowledge and to address real scientific problems. It analyzes the situation of setting and solving an educational task from the perspective of the teacher who organizes this situation. Additionally, it introduces the findings of a study on the characteristics of perfectionism within the context of the developmental situations of students from China, Kazakhstan, and Russia.
In the "Clinical Psychology" section, the approach of Alexander Romanovich Luria regarding the use of the Rorschach test in neuropsychology is analyzed.
In the "Developmental Psychology" section, the results of a study on the relationship between significant events identified by adolescents and their emotional state in conditions of an unstable social environment are presented. The section also provides insights into the dynamics of perceptions of standards of female beauty among preschool-aged girls.
In the "Theory and Methodology" section, the possibilities of applying the dynamic model of joint activity for understanding human experiences are explored, and the features of the informational-meaningful field in the modern social development context are analyzed.
In the "History of Science" section, the contribution of Konstantin Konstantinovich Platonov to the system of concepts in Soviet psychology is discussed. In the "The Memorable Dates" section, there is a presentation of Gita Lvovna Vygodskaya's report at the IV International Readings in memory of Lev Semenovich Vygotsky in 2003. The publication of the report is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Gita Lvovna's birth, which was celebrated on May 9, 2025.
