The journal "Psychological Science and Education" presents the fourth issue of 2025 (No. 4, 2025). The issue features empirical and theoretical studies revealing the mechanisms of psychological regulation, the formation of educational attitudes, and personality development in modern socio-cultural conditions.

In the "Developmental psychology" section, special attention is given to the study of the regulatory function of humor in younger schoolchildren. The publication "The use of humor in regulating the subjective experience of danger by younger schoolchildren" presents the results of an empirical analysis of how children use humor to construct a subjectively safe reality in situations involving violations of cultural norms. The study found that the ability to perceive rule-breaking as funny depends on the awareness of its consequences: the potential threat of punishment or injury suppresses humorous perception. At the same time, in less regulated, extracurricular contexts, children more often propose comic scenarios, which indicates the development of cognitive-emotional self-regulation.

Additionally, the results of the adaptation of the Russian version of the EPOCH questionnaire for assessing adolescents' psychological well-being are published, along with an analysis of age and family determinants of children's perceptions of happiness.

The "Educational psychology" section includes studies dedicated to teachers' professional development and the quality of the educational environment. In particular, it analyzes life-related psychological beliefs and neuromyths among students of pedagogical universities, practicing teachers, and educational psychologists. Special attention is given to issues of mental resilience among first-year students and the impact of anxiety on the academic activities of students in musical specialties. The issue also presents data on the role of cognitive and social factors in the educational achievements of migrant students, as well as prospects for the application of computer vision and neuroscience technologies in pedagogical practice.

The issue includes both domestic and international studies, highlighting its scientific significance and relevance for researchers, educators, and practicing psychologists.
