The third issue of the international scientific journal 'Language and Text' for 2025 has been released.
The section "General and Comparative Historical Linguistics" opens with M.V. Kudryavtseva's article "Expressiveness of advertising text in the context of gender", which examines the linguistic means used for emotional impact on male and female audiences, and analyzes gender-neutral advertising as a modern trend. K.G. Manukyan considers the author's sign-term as a realization of language's potential within standard semiotic tools and neology. A.E. Soboleva thoroughly investigates the handwritten collections of E.E. Egorov, containing the Life of Alexander Svirsky, establishing manuscripts most closely related in textual, linguistic, and paleographic features.
The section "World Literature. Textology" includes I.V. Kanel's article "Risorgimento journalism: reflecting changes in Italian society", which identifies the role of the Italian press during the Risorgimento period and its contribution to the formation of national self-awareness. K.A. Potashova presents research dedicated to clarifying the patterns of Lermontov's artistic thinking, as reflected in the authentic text of the poem "Neighbor" from 1840. I.V. Sotnikova, in the article "Sensory perception as a way of creating an image in the story ‘Childhood’ by Panteleimon Romanov", analyzes the author's artistic method through the prism of olfactory, tactile, and gustatory images. M.S. Stepanova explores the axiological guidelines of the Old Russian family and its spiritual and moral foundation. E.S. Shadrina, in the article "The motif of the talking head in the literary prefaces of the synods", investigates this motif in various texts of synodicons related to the symbolic genre of miracle.
The section "Linguodidactics and Innovations. Psychological Basis of Learning Languages and Cultures" contains the work of M.S. Velikov and E.Yu. Safronova "On the problem of defining the concepts: military sublanguage, military lexicon, military terminology", which discusses the definitions of these terms as a basic stage for understanding the process of pedagogical design. I.A. Gladkikh determines the lexical-grammatical features of the Russian Federation's Military Regulations for teaching foreign military specialists. I.V. Dergacheva's article analyzes the application of Digital Humanities methods for studying diplomatic, intercultural, and literary ties between the Russian Empire and the Kingdom of Italy. T.V. Kalugina and M.G. Romanenkov demonstrate how traditional and innovative techniques for working with visual aids are combined in classes on Russian as a foreign language. The section concludes with the article by A.Yu. Shilin and O.A. Bakhchieva "Language aspects of cyberbullying among students", which identifies and analyzes the linguistic characteristics of cyberbullying used by students in online communication.
