Figure for the news

In 2025, the reading society “Co‑Author Reading” (within the project “Science in Publications”) established itself as a space for public scholarly examination, where the text ceases to be a “finished product” and becomes an occasion for testing, refining, and extending thought. In the society, the reader is not an audience but a co‑participant in the research: they pose questions about design and interpretations, identify limitations, discuss the transferability of results into practice, and, together with the author, refine the boundaries of the conclusions.

Over the past year, the Club held seven meetings, at which 26 authors of scientific articles took part in discussions. More than 650 participants from over 170 localities across Russia and friendly countries registered to join the conversations. The Club’s geography is an indicator of how the scientific dialogue is becoming ever more multi‑voiced, contextual, and diversified.

The topics of 2025 formed a panorama of an applied scientific agenda—from evidence‑based practices to nuanced diagnostic solutions:

  • evidence‑based prevention of deviant behavior among minors in institutional settings;

  • assessment of skills in elementary school children with ASD (the “Tutor’s Compass” method);

  • Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) for people of advanced and old age;

  • research into children’s and adolescents’ conceptions of Good and Evil;

  • assessment of emotional intelligence (the “Emotions Dictionary” method);

  • psychodiagnostic tools for assessing students’ individual psychological characteristics;

  • self‑control in writing among elementary school children with dysgraphia.

You can explore all the project’s events held in 2025 here.

A separate milestone of the year’s discussions was a roundtable of the journal “Language and Text” on the role of written text in the history—a reminder that reading remains not only a skill but also a cultural technology of thinking.

All meetings are available in the “Co‑Author Reading” playlists on the  Rutube, the VK, and on Zen.

In 2026, “Co‑Author Reading” will continue its work, giving articles a vivid post‑publication life—in questions, objections, clarifications, and new conclusions. We invite authors of articles from 15 scientific journals of the publishing house of the Moscow State University of Psychology and Education (MSUPE) to present the results of their research and developments to a wide audience, “reading through” the articles together with the audience to full clarity of ideas and outcomes.

The “Co‑Author Reading” club congratulates readers and authors on the upcoming holidays—Happy New Year 2026 and Merry Christmas! May the new year bring more texts that one wants not just to read, but to truly discuss!
