The themed issue of the journal "Autism and Developmental Disorders" (No. 4, 2025) has been published, dedicated to the topic "Family Viability with Children with Developmental Differences: Issues, Resources, Psychological Assistance." The thematic editor of the issue is Irina Yakovlevna Stoyanova, PhD in Psychology, leading researcher at the Scientific Research Institute of Mental Health, Tomsk National Research Medical Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. In her column, Irina Y. Stoyanova emphasizes the importance of studying and strengthening resilience resources in children and parents, as well as raises the question of the need to develop evidence-based psychological practices focused on safety, family well-being, and adaptive capabilities.

The materials in the issue combine research and practice-oriented developments presented in the sections "Research on Developmental Disorders", "Diagnostic Tools", and "Methods of Education and Support". Among the publications are studies on risk factors for social disadaptation in induced pregnancy and the birth of a child with a disease; on the relationship between viability and psychological well-being in cases of pregnancy termination threat; on maternal attitudes and interactions between mother and infant after IVF; on trust deficit in parent-child relationships as a factor reducing viability in self-harm cases; as well as a review of approaches to studying post-traumatic personal growth in mothers raising children with ASD; and a study of the mental development of children after cochlear implantation in the context of rehabilitation and viability.

In the section "Diagnostic Tools," the methodology "Kompas Tutor" has been published for assessing social-communicative and adaptive skills in preschool children with ASD, and in the section "Methods of Education and Support" — an article about criteria for selecting systems of alternative and augmentative communication for children with ASD.

The issue also includes materials from the sections "Memorable Dates" and "News, Events, Documents" — in particular, a publication dedicated to the centenary of Klara Samoylovna Lebedinskaya’s birth and an article about the 13th International Film Festival "Cinema Without Barriers."
