We are pleased to present to you a thematic issue of the journal "Psychology and Law", united by a key theme of our time — "Psychology of Destructiveness and Adaptation Resources: Legal, Professional, and Personal Contexts." In this issue, we have gathered research that examines from various perspectives the challenges faced by individuals in the digital age, in professional activities, and in extreme situations. The main focus of the issue is not only on the threats and destructive manifestations themselves, but also on the search for effective tools for assistance, prevention, and restoration of psychological well-being. In the articles of the section "Methodological Problems of Legal Psychology," cyber threats, mechanisms of deviant behavior formation in adolescents, and maladaptive patterns in individuals deemed legally insane are analyzed. The "Legal Psychology of Childhood" section presents new methods for diagnosing school bullying, strategies for preventing offenses, and data on how family environment influences the well-being of adolescents. In the "Psychology of Professional Activity" section, special attention is paid to those working in law enforcement. The authors in their research discuss how to develop professional longevity for psychologists within the Ministry of Internal Affairs, reduce victimization among cadets, and build a positive image among leaders. The "Interdisciplinary Research" section features articles examining such topical issues as the psychological state of military personnel, work with moral injury and suicidal behavior, as well as assistance to families of the deceased. This issue will be extremely useful for practicing psychologists, lawyers, educators, law enforcement and social service employees, as well as anyone interested in the problems of countering destructive influences and strengthening the mental health of individuals and society.
