In the section “Methodological Problems of Legal Psychology,” a central place is occupied by a series of articles dedicated to digital crimes. The study by F.S. Safuanov and co-authors introduces the concept of a new pathopsychological syndrome in victims of telephone fraud, which has direct relevance for forensic expert examinations — the authors describe the phenomenon of “heightened emotional tension accompanied by affective-personal engrossment,” which helps explain how ordinary people become unwitting tools of criminals. The works by A.B. Kozlova, E.S. Ponomareva, and E.V. Buzykanova comprehensively examine the phenomenon of fraud and aggression in the digital environment, ranging from the psychological vulnerabilities of victims to the specific features of gaming activity and the processing of gaming experience. Of particular note is the article by E.G. Dozortseva and colleagues on adolescents who commit acts of sabotage — this is the first comprehensive description of this category of offenders, in which the authors analyze, based on forensic examination materials, the mechanisms of involving minors through digital devices and argue for the need for a differentiated approach to legal assessment.

The section “Psychology of Professional Activity” offers applied research conducted on samples of law enforcement officers. S.V. Dukhnosky and E.K. Shelepina reveal the relationship between fatigue among internal affairs officers and their career satisfaction and organizational environment, showing how increasing fatigue correlates with the experience of workplace distress. A team of authors led by A.S. Dushkin presents data on the relationship between hardiness and professional burnout among Ministry of Internal Affairs employees, confirming that hardiness is an important resource that supports positive self-attitude and resilience to burnout. The study by E.L. Buslaeva and N.V. Vlasova demonstrates how the value and meaning-of-life orientations of combatants change compared to cadets of military universities — while cadets exhibit a balanced combination of personal and social values, the value structure of special operation participants is characterized by utilitarianism and a focus on vital aspects, with their sense of meaning in life being significantly higher.

The “Interdisciplinary Research” section presents works that extend beyond traditional disciplinary boundaries. Important differential diagnostic criteria in psychiatry are proposed by I.A. Alekseev, A.Sh. Tkhostov, and A.D. Shustov, comparing attention disorders in schizophrenia and psychoses induced by new psychoactive substances — the identified differences have diagnostic value for forensic psychiatric examination and for planning cognitive correction programs. R.R. Iskandarov and B.G. Bovin analyze the effectiveness of therapeutic communities for the rehabilitation of individuals with substance addictions in places of detention, demonstrating the potential for reducing recidivism by 45–50 percent. Special attention is deserved by the development of an original diagnostic tool for assessing vulnerability to social engineering techniques, proposed by I.F. Nurmukhametova and E.A. Nurmukhametov — the study confirms that deep-seated personality characteristics are significant predictors of behavior in situations of manipulative influence. The issue concludes with a theoretical review of approaches to the study of codependency by O.I. Mironova and E.A. Kovalevskaya, systematizing accumulated scientific knowledge within personological, psychodynamic, clinical, systemic-family, and schema-oriented frameworks.
