In our research, we have selected three types of deviant subcultures as the object of analysis: a) communities involving in the commission of criminal acts (shoplifting); b) representatives of communities and individuals who commit unlawful acts of a sexual nature against minors; c) deviant subcultures that form a hostile attitude towards various social institutions. Research methods: a) non-included observation; b) retrospective interview; c) content analysis of materials received on the Vkontakte social network (online communities dedicated to shoplifting); d) theoretical and methodological analysis of the available literature on the stated problem; e) the Janis coefficient for determining the ratio of positive and negative studied categories in the framework of content analysis of publications on the Internet. We have established the specifics of the attitude of shoplifters to their illegal activities (justification, minimization of shame, negativization of the image of police and shop workers), the socio-psychological characteristics of the involvement of minors in illegal sexual interactions on the part of adults, the peculiarities of the psychological impact of subcultures that form a negative attitude of adolescents to their parents and social institutions (use of psychological manipulation). The measures of psychological prevention of involvement of minors in deviant subcultures are given.
