Abstract

The article reveals the essence and significance of the process of mastering the initial information skills of older preschoolers in a digital society. The features of the formation of information skills in older preschool children, in particular, the ability to analyze and critically evaluate the information received, are considered. Based on the analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature and advanced pedagogical experience, the pedagogical conditions for the formation of information skills in older preschoolers are formulated. The role of adults in the process of formation of children's initial information skills is revealed.
