Group Art Therapy Resource in Teen Bullying Prevention in Adolescence Environment

Abstract

The process of bullying poses a serious threat to adolescents’ psychosocial and academic adjustment to the educational environment. The negative consequences of bullying include increased likelihood of reduced attendance, academic success, and commission of offences by students. The work tasks of the educational psychologist include the formation of a psychologically safe atmosphere in educational organizations, improve of emotional intelligence and communicative abilities of students. Activities aimed at the prevention of bullying are included in the general program of socio-psychological adaptation of first-year students of the College of Tourism of St. Petersburg. The article presents the experience of appropriate training for students.
