Born in 1951. Psychotherapist, Frankl's student, who attempted to develop an independent type of psychotherapy, which he called existential analysis, based on Logotherapy and Frankl's existential analysis. Author of several books and a large number of articles devoted to the theory and practice of existential analysis (GLE). Chairman of the International Society of Logotherapy and Existential Analysis in Vienna (GLE), Vice-President of the International Federation of Psychotherapy (IFP). Since October 1999, A. Längle, together with colleagues from GLE, has been conducting a training program in Moscow for the preparation of psychotherapists in the existential-analytical direction. Currently, with the participation of A. Längle and GLE, the Russian-Austrian Institute of Existential-Analytical Psychology and Psychotherapy has been founded in Moscow.
