Ira Progoff's method "the intensive journal"

Abstract

This article is a short outline of the "intensive journal" method developed by Dr.Ira Progoff. The differences between the structured journal and the ordinary journal are described, as well as the particularities of the work with journal in group setting. The article lists the goals and tasks of working with the structured journal, the main exercises and their philosophical basis (views of time, of life story, of dialogue and of the 'flow of symbols". The author of the article describes the experience of conducting an online volunteer project based upon the Progoff's method.
