Classical and nonclassical approaches to the consciousness analysis

The given text represents last (and, it seems, the only remained) course lecture «Problem of the analysis of consciousness», which M.K. Mamardashvili read at faculty of psychology of the Moscow State University in 1972. In the article presents the basic line of the course — distinction of “classical” and “nonclassical” ways of the analysis realized in relation to consciousness. Carrying out critical consideration of natural-science thinking, and also classical versions of phenomenology of E. Husserl and J.-P. Sartre, M.K.Mamardashvili for the first time item here a way to the new version of phenomenology which he developed subsequently in lectures about Proust.
