Abstract

The paper illustrates the original empirical method of microflective analysis of psychoanalytic process using two psychoanalytic sessions. The possibilities of the method in studying reflective and polylogue subjective activity are demonstrated. The author reviews the consequences of the use of microflective method by a counsellor or by an independent expert. The quantitative research possibilities based on the method are proposed, and its potential for evaluating the effectiveness of both psychoanalysis and psychotherapy is presented.
