Sensitivity to child's needs in HIV positive women psychological maternal adaptation system

Abstract

The article is about particularities of psychological maternal adaptation of HIV positive women. The results of halfstructured interview with women, which were confirmed by «mother-child» cooperation observation, let find the indicator of maternal adaptation it is a sensitivity to child's needs behavious. It is shown that a low sensitivity to child's needs is connected with other dysfunctional characteristics of «mother-child» cooperation, maternity dissatisfaction feeling, ambiguity of parental attitude feeling. HIV positive mothers with low sensitivity to child's needs are characterised by emotional disorders and low life quality. They have a heavy medicosocial anamnesis.
