Abstract

The article analyzes the mourning process classification and highlights three types of grief experience models that are notable for time courses of each stage emphasized by the authors. The different viewpoints on the path of grief (staging / phases or idiosyncrasy / unpredictability) are shown. The work considers historical context – mourning process in the Scripture and patristic writings as well as difference understanding and grief experience in the Old and New Testaments.
