Assessment of Instrumental Information: Cognitive-Stylistic Characteristics

1100

Abstract

This article is dedicated to the analysis of the results of research regarding connections between cognitive style characteristics of equipment operators and rates of accuracy and speed of estimation of the instrument information. The features of assessment of the instrument scale by the operators with various cognitive-stylistic characteristics are detected. It is suggested that the highest effective indexes of estimation of the instrument information will show operators with a combination of cognitive-style characteristics, such as «field-independence - reflexivity- ability to categorize». The results confirm, though not fully, the validity of this hypothesis: operators with the «field-independence - reflexivity» symptom complex showed the strongest indicators of evaluation of instrument information.
