“Sound and Repercussion”. A review of critical response to Vladimir Nabokov’s art

1459

Abstract

The article looks at the process of critical perception of Vladimir Nabokov’s heritage in Russian-speaking émigré, soviet and Russian criticism. It analyzes not the reviews as such, but the attempts that were taken in the XX and the XXI centuries to interpret them. The purpose of this article is to point out the key concepts of Nabokovian critical studies of different years, emphasizing the works, belonging to the professional literary and journalist community, that truly respond to Nabokov’s art.
