Abstract

The Baptism of the Early Russian State by Grand Prince Vladimir has been of great civilization significance for the country for centuries to come. The Greco-Byzantine Weltbild naturally mapped the world view of the Eastern Slavic people. It was a turning point in the history and culture of the nascent state.
