Abstract

The article is devoted to the application of Digital Humanities methods in interdisciplinary historical and philological research. Using the example of the Russian Science Foundation project no. 24-28-00479, the possibilities of digital archives and resources for studying diplomatic, intercultural and literary relations between the Russian Empire and the Italian Kingdom during the Great Reforms and Risorgimento are considered. It is shown that the use of digital technologies allows not only to expand the source base through remote access to digitized collections of world libraries and archives, but also provides a new quality of analysis of historical and literary processes through data visualization and publication of results in the public domain. The paper also provides an overview of key electronic resources relevant for research in the field of international relations and cultural history.
