Elkonin 5th Jubilee Conference

The article contains the results of the conference at Psychological Institute RAE in Moscow held on the 2nd and 3rd of March 2004, devoted to the memory of Daniil Borisovich Elkonin and dated for his 100st anniversary. At the conference there reports of famous Russian psychologists, devoted to the analysis of the main problems of developmental psychology, elaborated by D.B. Elkonin, also there were carried out the roundtable discussions of some issues concerning contemporary psychology; they are: ‘‘What is nonclassical psychology?’’,‘‘Problems, tasks, means of Vigotskii contemporary developmental psychology?’’
