Characteristics of Non-Chemical Addictions in Early Youth Age

This article is devoted to the problem of non-chemical addictions which significantly affect personality development. We examine the following addictions: gambling, love, sexual and avoidance dependence. The author draws attention to the fact that from all of the above only gambling addiction is considered as a disorder, and only this one is dealt by medicine and psychology. Other types of non-chemical addictions are not studied as closely as the gambling addiction. One of the goals of the study was to describe those addictions that a person in early youth can be exposed to. The properties of the gambling, love, sexual addictions and avoidance dependence are described. The behavior patterns of addicted people are characterized.
