1020

Abstract

The article reports the results of the round table "Adolescence. Dialogue of Generations", held on the III All-Russian Conference on Developmental Psychology "On the threshold of adulthood" (Moscow, MSUPE, November 2011). To participate to the conference, were invited: students from Moscow school № 981 (since 09.01.2012 – State budget educational institution № 2000), their parents and teachers, alumni of the school. The topics proposed for discussion were: ideals and values of different generations; view of adolescence in different eras; difficulties specific to this age and methods (ways) to solve them. Adolescence is the period of values and personal meanings formation. The establishing of life values takes place during the process of communicating with the world, in a dialogue with adults and peers. A scientific conference section held in such a non-standard format is an experience of such a dialogue. The article describes several fragments of the discussions in the course of the round table. These materials can be used by psychologists, social workers and teachers for preparation of classroom hours, seminars, school conferences, etc.
