Psychosemantic Analysis of the Perception of a Woman Image in Individuals Who Have Committed Violent Sexual Offenses

The possibility of using the original methodology to identify specifics of the relationship to the image of a woman among individuals with abnormal sexual behavior, as well as the construction of semantic space of this relationship are considered in the article. Aim: to study the relationship to the image of a woman in individuals, who have committed sexual delicts towards adult heterosexual object. Object: the relationship to the image of a woman in individuals with mental disorders, who have committed aggressive delicts of sexual and nonsexual type. Subject: the system of representations of a woman in individuals with mental disorders, who have committed sexual delicts towards adult heterosexual object. We hypothesized that there were significant substantive differences in representation of a woman in individuals with mental disorders, who have committed sexual and nonsexual delicts towards a woman. The manifestation of aggression towards a woman in individuals, who have committed aggressive sexual offenses, was facilitated by attributing her some negative characteristics and then sexual aggression serves as a means of self-affirmation in a male role.
