Abstract

Hans-Werner Reinfried is a well-known Swiss psychologist and psychotherapist. Dr. Reinfried’s clients are adolescent offenders, whom the court has indicated to undergo the individual therapy as a rehabilitative measure. The author described his work of many years with adolescents and adults who have committed a crime as being a representative of one of the psychoanalysis schools, the depth psychotherapy, in several books, one of which was published in Russia ("Murderers, robbers, thieves ... Psychotherapy in the penitentiary system." - M .: "Medicine", 2003). The first part of the Dr. Reinfried’s original article written specially for the Russian readers is presented.
