Abstract

The contribution is devoted to the problem of research of persons convicted for crimes against sexual inviolability and sexual freedom of the person. The authors put persons convicted under articles 131-135 of the Russian Criminal Code into this category. Persons who commit crimes against sexual inviolability and sexual freedom of the person are not a homogenous group of people. In fact they widely differ both in periodicity (frequency) and types of sexual actions which they commit, and in many personal characteristics. The crimes of different criminals in this category also have evident distinctive features, incl. time and place of the crime, gender and age of the victim, thoroughness of planning of the crime and level of compulsion which is used or planned.
