Job Profile as Core Method of Job Standardization in Business

Abstract

The author suggests 'job profile' as an alternative version of the main basic unit of personnel management that is incorporated in all HR-processes: personnel recruitment, adaptation, evaluation, development and training, candidate pool development, employees' motivation. The job profile is regarded as a standard in accordance with which personnel is hired or evaluated; this profile also helps to define the areas of employee development and to create a pool of candidates for the positions. The author proposes her own version of the job profile that has been tested and approved in various business sectors. The proposed format corresponds to the need for the job standardization in business and takes into account the management of the real processes existing at workplace.
