By the 50th Anniversary of the Faculty of Psychology at St. Petersburg State University: International Scientific Conference «Psychology — Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow»

Abstract

In 1966 the first Departments of Psychology in Russia were founded at the Moscow and St. Petersburg State Universities. The 50-year Anniversary of the Department of Psychology at St. Petersburg State University was celebrated by a series of events, the central one of which was a scientific conference. The conference was devoted to the history of psychological scientific development, its current state and developmental perspectives. The conference was attended by over a thousand people, over forty breakout sessions and workshops were conducted, a review of which is presented in the article.
