The “Psychological-Educational Studies” Journal Invites Authors: the "Psychodiagnostic Techniques for Assessing the Level of Cognitive and Personal Development of Children and Adolescents" Issue

29

Recently, the problem of verifying the reliability and validity of the methods used in scientific studies of childhood has become particularly relevant. Often, methods are used that are either adapted from adult samples, or outdated instruments that have not undergone the appropriate psychometric validation, or methods that have no reliable evidence that they are appropriate for use with children and adolescents in, for example, a Russian sample. This threatens the quality and reliability of research results. This state of the Russian psychodiagnostic sphere does not leave the editors of the "Psychological-Educational Studies" scientific journal indifferent.

The journal aims to attract psychologists, researchers and practitioners to publish psychodiagnostic methods that they develop or adapt, and invites authors to participate in a thematic issue - "Psychodiagnostic methods for assessing the level of cognitive and personal development of children and adolescents" (No. 3, 2024). The thematic editors of the issue will be Maria Antonovna Odintsova, PhD in Psychology, and Marina Gennadyevna Sorokova, Doctor of Pedagogy, Moscow State University of Psychology & Education (MSUPE).

Materials devoted to diagnostic tools (adaptation and development) are accepted for the thematic issue. The deadline for manuscript submission is 10 June 2024.
