A new issue of the journal Autism and Developmental Disorders (No. 3-2024) has been published.

The issue opens with the traditional section "Scientific Research," featuring two articles. The first, by A.E. Simanovsky and A.O. Kornienko, presents the pilot testing of an original programme aimed at developing verbal-logical thinking in older preschool children with severe developmental disorders. The second article, by K.R. Efimova and M.V. Ivanov, explores the concept of "parental adherence to treatment" from a clinical-psychological perspective.

The "Diagnostic Tools" section discusses the use of two innovative instruments for Russian practice: the Merrill Palmer Revised Scales of Development (MPR) (by A.A. Ilyuntseva, A.A. Movchan, and O.A. Uskova) and the Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale-Revised (ECERS-R) (by E.A. Sadretdinova, S.N. Bashinova, I.A. Nigmatullina, and V.V. Vasina).

The issue concludes with two practice-oriented studies: one on developing motor skills in children with autism through skiing activities (by L.V. Kharchenko and E.F. Shamshualeeva), and the other on fostering dialogue skills in older preschool children with autism spectrum disorders (by M.A. Adilzhanova and L.A. Tishina).
