On February 26, a webinar titled “The Results of the ‘Zeigarnik Readings 2025’ Conference: The Contemporary Research Field in Clinical Psychology” was held as part of the platform “Science in Publications: From Idea to Practice”.

During the webinar, speakers and participants exchanged views on the results of the II International Scientific and Practical Conference “Zeigarnik Readings”, addressed issues related to publication activity, discussed several controversial points, and considered plans and prospects for the future.

During the conference, approximately 150 in-person presentations were delivered by specialists from 30 cities, including participants from neighboring countries. A total of 150 papers from different areas of clinical psychology were selected for publication in the book of abstracts. Participants included undergraduate and graduate students, faculty members, Candidates of Sciences, and Doctors of Sciences. Representatives of related fields also took part in the conference.

Maria A. Moskacheva drew attention to the content of the collection, which proved to be highly diverse: it covered topics ranging from the use of artificial intelligence to issues related to reproductive technologies.

The speakers paid considerable attention to writing and selecting abstracts for conference proceedings. At present, the field of research has transformed: whereas previously abstracts were expected to include research results, they can now present a characterization of a problem area or outline a research plan. During the discussion, a proposal was made to distinguish such submissions into a separate section. Ethical aspects of both the form and content of abstracts were also addressed.

In concluding the discussion, the participants agreed that one of the main objectives of the conference is to create a platform for professional interaction, where each participant can realize their ideas. It was proposed to reconsider conference formats and approaches to compiling scientific collections.
