The second issue of the scientific journal "Modelling and Data Analysis" for 2026 has been published. The new issue presents cutting-edge research at the intersection of mathematics, neural networks, aviation, and modern educational technologies.

A special place in this issue is given to an English-language article by H. Kilani and E.L. Grigorenko. The study focuses on the affect and behavior of preschoolers during tablet-based assessments, revealing how emotional engagement and digital literacy influence early learning outcomes in technology-mediated environments.

The wide range of materials covers today's most pressing technological challenges. The issue features intriguing studies, exploring the use of quantum representations of Markov processes for objective pilot state diagnostics and mathematical approaches to analyzing semantic text profiles to combat neural network "hallucinations."

The issue also includes research on:

  • modeling reflection (an "inner voice") and metacognitive control in AI cognitive architectures;
  • hybrid methods for creating scientific ontologies and adapting convolutional neural networks for complex computer vision tasks;
  • identifying acoustic predictors of operator stress via voice analysis and 3D modeling of engineering fastener strength;
  • inclusive education (adapting math and IT for visually impaired students using AI) and the computer visualization of algebraic curves;
  • a new method for normalizing heterogeneous data (AMIS) and adaptive global optimization algorithms.
The full issue of the journal will be published freely on the PsyJournals.ru Psychological Publications Portal.
