Students' Ideas about the Peculiarities of Communication on the Internet

The article is devoted to the specifics of students' ideas about the peculiarities of communication on the Internet. The material for the analysis was the data of a study conducted in May-June 2023 at the UE «BIP-University of Law and Socio-Information Technologies» (Minsk, Republic of Belarus). Students of three specialties were invited to present their views on the features and risks of communication on the Internet in the form of free descriptions. The processing of the results included the procedure of grouping (categorical analysis) of the received responses (descriptors) for the purpose of their further quantitative and qualitative analysis and visualization. The publication also analyzes approaches to the concepts of "communication", "Internet communication", "Internet communication".
