Abstract

Nowadays, the world is constantly experiencing a revolution in communications, Internet technologies and social networks. This article discusses the possibilities of using Internet resources and social networks for communication and learning foreign languages ​​and the impact of social networks on our society development. The author made an attempt to define the usefulness of social networks as a communication tool. It is expressed that social networks and Internet resources are widely used to communicate and expand knowledge of foreign languages, and the most significant and popular sites and social networks for studying foreign languages are given in the paper. One of the most important advantages of using modern tools of Internet sites and social networks is the online exchange of knowledge and information between different groups of people, which contributes to the improvement of communication skills among people, the development of communication competencies, especially in different languages. This phenomenon is widespread among young people and students of various educational institutions. Online tools and technologies have not only revolutionized our daily communication and worldview, but have also diversified the way we communicate. The possibilities of Internet resources and social networks can radically change the nature of communication and the style of our social life, both at the interpersonal level and at the level of the community as a whole.
