Abstract

The paper covers influence of personal, ethnical, national, gender and professional identity on career building in the management field. Major levels, stages and structure of professional identity are distinguished with the help of theory overview. Career building as a complex process of personality development and interaction of these components is considered within the analysis of current concepts of social identity.
