Annalisa Sannino is University Lecturer in the Department of Education at University of Helsinki. She completed her PhD in Psychology at the University of Nancy in France and worked as post-doctoral Fulbright scholar in the Laboratory of Comparative Human Cognition and the Department of Communication at the University of California San Diego in 2002-03. From 2001 to 2008 she worked as researcher in psychology in the Department of Education at the University of Salerno in Italy.

Scientific Activity

Her research is focused on communication, cognition and learning in educational institutions and work organizations. In her recent work she deals in particular with the connection between discourse and activity, and with the interventionist nature of cultural-historical activity theory.
