1105

Abstract

The author advances several characteristic features of liminal periods understood as breaks in the continuity of life experience determined by realization of termination of definite fragments in one's life span. It is at this stage when inner emotional and a cognitive resource of personality activization is necessary to overcome one's «actual self» in order to create one's «new self». Liminality overcoming is considered to be an act of personality construction, act of search and construction of new meanings, act of free choice and life-creation that is realized in choices and real deeds. Describing the steps of overcoming liminality (deconstruction, reconstruction and congruence) the author touches upon the phenomena of true-way feeling and synchronicity which personality interprets as response of being to individual's life-creation acts.
