Parents' Representations of Animation Preferences of Preschool Children

Abstract

The paper studies the features of animation preferences of preschool children from the point of view of their parents. It is based on input received during the public opinion poll of 1936 parents whose children attend Moscow kindergartens. The paper analyzes the parents' views on the most popular children's cartoons, pro¬vides ratings of favorite cartoons of preschoolers, as well as addresses some gender and age characteristics of the children's preferences.
