Human freedom in Сhrist and without Сhrist

Abstract

The article gives a complete picture of human freedom understanding in faith and in the Fathers of the Church. The author notes that the Christian Orthodox anthropology clearly differentiates individual or personal freedom and natural freedom. Author examines the interdependence of freedom and responsibility, freedom and love, the discrepancy between freedom and choice; he also clarifies the relation-ships of freedom and faith, freedom and grace.
